The Leonardo da Vinci programme is part of the European Commission's new Lifelong Learning Programme and is designed to build a skilled workforce through European partnerships. Leonardo funds overseas work placements and the development of training materials with the objective of improving the provision of Vocational Education and Training (VET) across Europe.

University students in their second year or above can study part of their degree at a university in another European country. No matter what subject you are studying you can take part in the programme and you don’t necessarily need to know a foreign language.
